It's all going somewhere, I swear.
Anyway, again TheXtra's software received an update, so that is why the characters look a little different. We're hoping that with time we'll be able to get back to how they used to be, or at least a cohesive look and style. That's the rub whenever you work with AI though.

*Erica watches in shock as the red crystal, which for her entire life she had only thought of as decoration, floats into her apartment*
Erica: "HOLY CRAP! That thing is floating!"
Panel 2
*Dave gently picks the crystal up and strokes it, the red light within pulsing almost like a cat's purr with each light touch*
Dave: "This crystal saved my life a long time ago. HE is more powerful than you can imagine."
Panel 3
*Erica furrows her brow in confusion*
Erica: "He!? Mom, what are you talking about? Ugh, I need to sit down..."
*Erica plops herself down on her couch*
Dave: "The story begins before you were born..."
*Dave gives her daughter a wry smile*
Dave: "...And a couple hours ago"
*Erica sighs in annoyance*
Erica: "...Of course it does"
