Eurobeat Production Guide!!!
Added 2022-12-28 21:41:06 +0000 UTCSo, I'm finally putting my foot down and writing up a guide on all I've learned about making the genre thus far.
I decided that you lot would be the best people to ask. This is my first Patrons only post in as long as I can remember. I know it's not much, but consider this a chance to influence a bigger project of mine as a thanks for your support thus far!
If you're interested in making eurobeat, and there are specific things you'd like me to go break down and explain be sure to let me know. How to nail the drums? What to do with the bass? How to write a riff? Where does the feel in eurobeat come from? What about the arrangement, what instruments should you use?
Also, if you vote for the first option on the poll, and you feel there's something more productions could use, be sure to let me know your thoughts as well. I really want to raise the general level of independent eurobeat production, so the listener's opinion is equally important.
I'm sorely lacking perspective after having made the genre for lord knows how long for now, so the opinion of the target audience is invaluable.
I'll be sure to keep you updated!

By the looks of it, it'll be a goddamn brick to slog through. If you manage to give it a read with no knowledge of music production you'll be one tenacious hardass.
