I totally agree! I think what Jess did was fucked up and not enough people like to say it because too many people have Jess blinders and make excuses for everything he does. What Jess did was tantamount to sexual harassment at the very least. What he did was bad enough but his reaction afterwards made it worse. Him saying "you came up here" to Rory as if it was her fault. That she was somehow asking to have sex with him by coming upstairs. It was bullshit and I don't care that he's upset about flunking out. As you said this is the consequences of his actions and it's no excuse to treat Rory like shit.

I have problems with Jess, I know that he has a lot of issues and he doesn't always get or feel like he gets the help he needs. But, he lashes out at people, ignores options for help, then in this episode Rory said Jess wait, he kept going, Jess wait but again he kept going, then she had to push him off of her. That's not alright no matter what he's going through and I feel like it gets brushed aside to much, like it's not that big a deal that he did that, because he didn't really mean it, because he's going through issues, because he's better than Dean, but those aren't good reasons to ignore some of the behavior he exhibits. I've never really been able to like Jess, I think because of some fan reactions to this, people love Jess so much, that they often move past this really easy or sometimes think it's not that bad because he's dealing with things, plus writing choices with his character like in this episode, I don' t think they intended this to be seen, to be as bad as it actually is, I think they just considered it a scene of Jess having difficulty communicating his real feelings, but it's a scene of him ignoring her when she tells him to stop, which is never an okay thing to do but were just supposed to move past it and hope that he can tell her what's going on with him. So with writing choices and some fans sometimes ignoring his issues I just can't really fully like Jess, despite the fact that I think the actor is great in the role and I feel sympathy for what the character is going through. Also, Dean was definitely looking for an excuse to fight Jess since the first time he met him, but I also think he thought Jess did something to Rory.
