Development Update #53 - May 08, 2018

I'm posting the Dev Update today because yesterday I was unable to access my Patreon page due to some kind of internal server error on Patreon's side, but it's been resolved since then so everything is fine now.
There's a lot of questions about the release date of the finale. This time I really can only tell you, it's done when it is done. Every release has been stressful so far, (which is my fault for trying to add too many things last minute) so I want this last Episode to be stress free and of course bug free for you guys.
I don't want to cut anything I've planned for this because of time. This doesn't mean it will take all eternity to release... Just to give you something of a range, I'm hoping for an end of May release, but it can easily slip into next month, especially if I keep getting awesome ideas in the middle of working on the game (and if I go with implementing the 5th ending). I know it's hard to wait, and I'm thankful for you patience. I'm trying to make sure that the wait will be worthwhile.
As I'm working on the scenes, I started to realize... There are going to be a lot of naughty action. And I mean a LOT. Every girl has a new outfit in one way or another, mostly in the MC's final dreamworld trip.
I have some suspensful "action" scenes in the works as well. I want to make the fight with the Order a memorable part of the game and I want the MC to finally feel powerful after being kind of a naive weakling through most of the game. It will be his moment to shine...
Or to lose and fall. It's your choice.

2018-05-12 18:31:22 +0000 UTCStill cannot get Extras to work on a MAc. The instructions indicate rpa file goes in 'game' folder but archive does not unpack such a file. Instructions are either flawed pr VERY unclear! Help.

2018-05-09 14:38:19 +0000 UTCI'm not 100% certain but I believe as far as a Dev's Patreon page is concerned once they select either monthly payments or per release it might be set in stone. Early on Sin chose the monthly option and mentioned how he couldn't revert back to anything else after the fact. Pretty sure this is how it works at least.

2018-05-09 05:47:14 +0000 UTCI agree with Bruce. I believe that a per release billing would be more equitable. It would definitely change how I pledge. That said the quality of images are much better than some of the other offering out there hence my not altering my pledge for now.

Can't wait to see how you depict the end game battle with The Order, and of course I'm really looking forward to the dreamworld trip so damn much :O More than anything though, finding out what Alice has been up to is going to really hit the spot for me. 2018-05-08 21:14:14 +0000 UTCcould you not have the MC fuck everyone 20 times, i felt like falling asleep playing the last 3 chapters. It just went sex,sex,sex and oh guess what..... more sex. Random bits of story. More sex with a character you've had sex with 20 or more times, typos every sentence and then more sex. I get that most people don't play it for any story and i didn't really at first but that became all that i cared about after i slept with "landlady" for the 17th time with the same shitty "sexy" dialogue each time. Also please for the next and final chapter make it so they actually call each other mum and sister, etc because it was only until episode 10 i figured out the neighbour was their aunt. Seriously man get Jecmo to get his act together otherwise you may lose more people than just me.
2018-05-08 20:45:28 +0000 UTCDid you ever consider charging by the major release, instead of monthly? That way you wouldn't be handcuffed by an artificial deadline. Luxee does that for... uh... Roommates Love, and seems to be doing fine. You might think about it for your next game.
