(WIP) [ANIMATION] HLW "KEY ART"

Wassup, homies?

How have y'all been? Sorry about uh, once again disappearing. No shit, I was going through the fourth death of the last 17 months. Man, I wish I was kidding. I sound like the guy with glass bones and paper skin from Spongebob. So much death. It's like, pre-Industrial Revolution levels of death. But! This one was a bit of a relief, as fucked as it sounds. Basically, I've been helping care for someone with dementia for the entirety of this year, which is why I've been so wishy washy in making art. And she just passed. It was hellish for all of us, hellish for her, hellish for me and the rest of my family, holy fuck it was awful. But she's not suffering anymore, and neither are we.  

So! That's it! No more problems on my end. It's crazy, I've just fallen right back into drawing all the time. Looking back, I can see how unbelievably fucked the last two years have been. Luckily, I'm running out of family members to drop dead, so I think I'll be back here for good now. I've missed drawing degenerate shit so so much.

FIRST OFF, I am, of course, not charging you guys in a few days. Worry not. But, I'm still going to attempt to finish something this month. I'm pretty rusty, but I want to try.

I'm doing something new now, Key Art. Basically, I noticed that I was taking a shitload of time on the first Keyframe consistently. It was always a pain in the ass. I figured out that I was trying to figure out the style, the proportions, the designs, everything, in pose, in the final product. Well, that's shit. No wonder it was so awful. Key Art, or a Model Sheet, remedies that. It lets me figure out the proportions, the style, the designs of the outfits, the colors, the special effects, all of it, in easy neutral poses. In theory, the Keyframe will be easy as cake, since all I'll be figuring out is the pose. These renderings are an example of how some of the variants will come out. I'll be using this as reference, of course.

So, I meant to do another animation. But, something kinda broke in me since, you know, death sucks, and I said to myself, "God dammit, I just want to make a spooky fucking halloween animation with spooky randy ghosts, and I want to listen to spooky halloween music while doing it." To be fair, this is something I wanted to do since last year, so I get where my deranged mind is coming from. 

Again, I hope you guys like this milf character. I really enjoy drawing her. At this point, I'm forcing her on you guys like Will Smith forced Jaden on all of us. "I will make them love you." But, it felt appropriate drawing my avatar. And I'd just like to do something original.

That's all I have to say. I'm really, really wanting to be back, so I'm going to work hard and earn y'alls support again.
