The Tenant - Chapter 1

Okay, so I've had another idea for what will probably be the hottest story I've ever written. By a fair margin. And it's fun. And I'm into it. And I hope you don't mind if I put the succubus exclusive story on a brief pause to write this one while I'm inspired to do it. I really think you guys are going to love this one... :)

THE TENANT

Chapter 1

“Jeff,” Emiline said, her tone one of exasperation as she spun the diamond engagement ring on her finger. “Are we ever going to get married? We’ve been engaged for almost three years!”

Jeff frowned, his gaze dropping to the floor. “Like I’ve told you, Em, we just don’t have the money for a wedding right now! We could elope, but I know you’ve always dreamed of having a big, family wedding. With the house payment and our student loans, we’re barely making ends meet right now!”

Emiline pouted, her blonde hair bouncing off her shoulders as she spun on her heel and stormed off. He heard a door slam a moment later.

Jeff slumped into the dining room chair, clunking his forehead on the table’s surface. He rested his head there for a long while, his stomach churning with the knowledge that Emiline was losing patience with him. As his emotions eventually calmed, his thoughts began to drift from the problem toward potential solutions to their current fiscal conundrum.

Suddenly, he had an idea, his head jerking upward, his eyes alight with excitement. He sprang from the chair, running up the stairs to the bedroom door, which was still closed in the wake of Emiline’s exasperated tantrum. He knocked cautiously.

“Emiline?” he inquired, holding his breath as he awaited his fiance’s response.

“Go away!” came a muffled voice from inside the room, her voice sounding raw, as if she’d been crying.

Jeff frowned, his stomach lurching at the thought of tears in the eyes of his love. He decided to press forward with his idea, however, confident that it was the right solution for the entire problem between them. He just had to get her to listen to it.

“You know how we have the extra bedroom? The one we’re planning to use when we eventually have kids?” Jeff asked, his voice cracking as he tried to make its sound as delicate as possible.

Emiline didn’t answer.

“What do you think about renting it out?”

“Renting it out?” came a shaky voice from inside the room, slightly clearer this time as if her face were no longer buried in a pillow.

“Yeah, you know, like posting it on Craigslist or AirBnB or something?”

He heard a soft thump, then footsteps. A moment later, the door opened with a loud squawk. A tear-streaked face looked up at him, Emiline’s large, green doe eyes wide and glassy. “And that will give us enough money to save up for the wedding?”

Jeff smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. He nodded his agreement earnestly.

A hesitant smile graced her lips, turning into a broad grin as she wrapped her arms around him in a heartfelt embrace.

“Do you think we should lower the price?” asked Emiline, as another prospective tenant deal fell through, the person opting for a more spacious room in a nicer abode.

“Maybe,” Jeff admitted grudgingly. “But this is what rooms in our neighborhood are supposed to go for!? The lower we set the price, the longer it will take for us to afford our wedding!”

Emiline placed her hand over Jeff’s in an affectionate gesture. “Well, let’s try it anyway…”

Just as Jeff logged into the website to change it, however, an alert chimed on his phone.

It was an AirBnB request!

He opened it, scanning through its contents.

Sasha Medyedev

19 years old

No pets

No credit history

Agrees to all terms

Jeff looked at the message, tapping a finger to his lips consideringly.

Emiline knew that look. She rose, circling behind Jeff’s chair. She placed a hand on his shoulder, leaning forward to look. “We got one?”

Jeff turned to face her, a reassuring smile turning the corners of his lips upward. “We did!”

“What about that ‘no credit history’ part? What does that mean?” she replied, her brow furrowing as she examined the screen.

“I guess it just means they couldn’t pull her credit report or something.”

“Is that bad?”

“It’s not really good or bad. She’s young. She probably just hasn’t lived in her own place before. Probably doesn’t have a credit card either.”

“Well, she doesn’t have any pets, right? That’s good. And she agreed to all the rest of our terms, including the price…”

“True…”

“So let’s do it!” Emiline said, her eyes glowing with excitement.

Jeff looked slightly reluctant, still put off slightly by the girl’s lack of credit history, but his resistance melted under the warm radiance of Emiline’s smile. “Okay,” he said simply, giving his wife a victorious hug.

***

Emiline had an important meeting for work that she needed to attend the next day, leaving Jeff at home alone to handle their appointment with Sasha. The young prospective tenant wanted to see the room and the couple was eager to lock in a renter, so Jeff had agreed to interview the girl alone.

When the doorbell rang, Jeff started, torn from thoughts of how happy Emiline would be when they finally set a wedding date. He quickly rose to his feet, however, shoving those thoughts from his mind as he hustled to the front door to meet their new tenant.

He opened the door, his mouth dropping open as his eyes descended the form of the young woman before him.

She was stunning.

Her hair was the color of midnight, long, lush, and silky, framing a exquisitely featured face that put an instant stop to Jeff’s ragged breath. The girl had a series of small, silver rings over a high-arcing right brow and excessive eyeliner and mascara surrounding piercing, almost iridescent cobalt eyes.

She wore no conventional jewelry, but had a second row of small silver rings affixed vertically to the outer edge of her right ear. Her sensual lips were coated in dark crimson lipstick. As Jeff gazed longingly at them, those gorgeous lips curled into a sultry smirk. Jeff blinked as the nubile beauty shifted her hips, the tantalizingly seductive moment of her alluring body leaving him speechless.

“You Jeff or whatever?” she asked disdainfully, her voice carried a slight rasp that made the hairs on the back of his neck stand at attention. Her tone smoldered with suggestive sizzle. Jeff shivered as chills rippled through his rigid spine.

“I, uh…” Jeff stammered, his brain unable to analyze the meaning of words when it was so busy processing the wealth of far more engrossing visual information that his eyes were feeding it.

Sasha’s sly smile broadened as she watched the man before him stare into her gorgeous eyes uncomprehendingly. “You renting a room or what?”

“Renting a…” Jeff repeated distantly, his eyes sweeping down the rest of the girl’s body, not fully ready, until now, to fully appreciate its fit, youthful curves. She wore a black crop with a silver logo, the breasts it contained modest in size but achingly perfect in shape, twin points tenting the fabric of her top to make it obvious that she wore no bra. The shapeliness of her succulent swells was further emphasized by the thin straps of a small backpack that pulled the thin fabric of her half-shirt taut over their grapefruit-sized slopes.

Her stomach was sleek and defined, a star-patterned tattoo centered around her belly button. Her waist was tiny, her hips athletic but elegantly curved, clad in form-fitting black leather pants.

She wasn’t tall—maybe 5’6” or so—with what had to be two-thirds of that height coming from her long, lean legs.

The girl was a vision of bold, dangerously provocative sexuality, complete with a model’s face and a dancer’s body.

“Me Sasha. You Jeff. You have room for rent, right?” the girl repeated as if speaking to a child, still smiling even as she chewed her gum once again, a pink bubble expanding from the darkness between those luscious, crimson lips of hers.

When the bubble popped, the spell that had so enthralled Jeff was suddenly broken, the man’s spinal rigidity suddenly deflating like the wilting pink balloon before him until he stood slightly hunched and somewhat diminished before the stunning girl.

“Yes, yes,” Jeff said, wiping away the beads of sweat that had formed on his brow with the back of his hand. “Come in.”

He stepped back from the entrance. The girl, who had been leaning casually on the doorframe, pushed away from it with a nudge of her shoulder before sauntering inside, looking around the interior of the house with what appeared to be her natural expression—a sly smile.

“Nice place, Jeff,” she said, her eyes roaming about before settling on a picture of Jeff and Emiline on their engagement day.

“Wife?” Sasha asked, picking up the photo to examine it further.

“Y-yeah,” said Jeff absently, busily admiring the girl’s luscious backside as her attention was focused elsewhere. Then, his eyes went wide. “I mean, no!”

Sasha set down the picture, arching an eyebrow as she turned to look at him once again. “So which is it, big boy? Married? Or not so much?”

“I’m not, I mean, I’m…” Jeff stammered. What was it about this girl that had him so off-kilter?! He paused, letting out a pensive breath before continuing. “I’m engaged.”

“Ah,” said Sasha, blowing another bubble as she continued to inspect the place. “So not married, then.”

“I guess not,” said Jeff distantly, shrugging his tense shoulders. “Not yet.”

“That why you want a second woman around? For some fun times before you tie the knot?” Sasha’s gaze was dead serious, staggeringly intense, and, when combined with that question, absolutely terrifying to the man on its receiving end.

Jeff went white, every ounce of color draining from his cheeks. “Th-that’s not what I…!”

Sasha’s lips curled upward in a brilliant, white smile. “Just fucking with you, dude.”

She laughed as she watched Jeff’s face turn a rainbow of different hues before flicking her eyes toward the stairs. “So you wanna show me the room?”

Jeff’s pounding heart was firmly lodged in his throat, his mind still whirring from what had almost sounded like an invitation to his cursedly hopeful ears. He wobbled uncertainly toward the stairs, tripping over the first step as he frantically worked to calm his thudding heartbeat.

He went down in a heap, springing right back up with energy born of embarrassment. He gave Sasha a furtive look over his shoulder. Thankfully, she didn’t say anything, merely maintaining her usual mien of smug amusement.

Jeff managed to get to the top of the stairs with no further issues, holding open the door to allow Sasha entrance.

She brushed past him, the touch of her toned shoulder electric, causing Jeff to suck in a sharp breath. Sasha slowly walked the room, running her fingertips over the dresser and bed frame as she roamed her eyes over the entire space.

When she got to the bed, she pressed her long, slender fingers down on the mattress, testing its springs and sturdiness.

“Hmm, she said consideringly, raising a finger to her plump lips as she gnawed on her gum. “Should do nicely.”

Jeff cleared his throat, attempting—unsuccessfully—to remove the lump that had firmly lodged itself in his larynx since the moment he had first seen his prospective tenant. “The bed?” he rasped, doing his best not to choke as he uttered the words.

Sasha turned her dazzling eyes toward him, their pearlescent irises effortlessly puncturing his already shredded composure. “Of course!”

She reached into her mouth, extracting a small wad of pink bubblegum and tossing it to the garbage in the far corner of the room without even looking. It struck the plastic container with a hollow thunk, as if to punctuate the perfect precision of her casual toss.

“The bed is where I spend most of my time, after all. Or at least my best times...” She gave Jeff a flirtatious wink, laughing as she watched the skin of his face turn a deep shade of scarlet.

“In fact,” she continued, her eyes gleaming mischievously. “If you wouldn’t mind…”

She strode confidently to where Jeff leaned against the open door, taking his hand in hers and pulling him with surprising strength toward the bed. Releasing his hand, Jeff stumbled forward, landing face first on the bed before flipping himself over to lay prone and looking up into the sexy girl’s amused eyes.

To his utter shock, Sasha mounted him, the leather that covered her slender legs creaking as her knees glided over his outer thighs. She sat on his legs, then leaned forward, giving the mattress a few more experimental pushes to either side of his body, her breasts rippling under the skimpy top with the vigorous movement as they dangled enticingly before him.

Jeff could feel himself getting hard as the taut leather that encased her long legs ground against his outer thigh, her sleek hips tantalizingly close, hovering just above his rapidly expanding member.

“Yes, this will do nicely, I think,” she smiled as she climbed off of him, extending a hand to help him up. Her fingers were well-manicured, though at least half of their black polish was chipped away.

He took it, and she hauled him to his feet, again displaying an astonishing level of strength that belied her petite form. As his trembling body rose from the mattress, he could swear he saw a soft, red glow from the tattoo on her stomach, but when he shifted his gaze toward her toned tummy, there was no glow. The ink looked as black as it had when he’d first laid eyes on it. Shaking away the errant vision, Jeff felt a bead of perspiration begin to roll down his temple as his attention turned once more to the teen temptress’ disturbingly attractive visage.

“What?!” she replied, seeing his stunned expression. “With a body like mine, it’s not hard to find interested guys, after all. I’ll try to keep the noise down.” She gave him another wink, causing the man before her flinch, reaching out for the wall as his knees went weak, imagining the position he was just in with his partner, sans clothes.

Sasha leveled him with knowing eyes before sweeping out of the room.

“So when can I move in?” she called out, her footfalls descending the stairs.

Jeff steadied himself for a moment. He had been completely unprepared for the sensual hurricane that was Sasha and required some time to compose himself after the girl’s unexpectedly erotic display on the bed.

After a moment, however, he staggered after her, finding her with her feet on the dining room table, examining her nails. As he approached, she removed them, leaning forward to give him an expectant look. “You got the lease ready?”

Jeff paused, his eyes darting about for the document before remembering where it was. He retreated to the desk to retrieve it, then slid it before the beautiful girl. She didn’t read a word before signing it, sliding it back across the table toward him with a flourish. She sprang to her feet.

“I’ll move in tomorrow then,” she said, slipping out the door and closing it emphatically behind her.

Jeff let out a breath he hadn’t realized he’d been holding as he gazed at the closed door. What had just happened?

He stared after her for a long moment, feeling every part of his body continuing to tingle from the lingering feel of the girl’s overwhelming presence.

Suddenly, his eyes went wide with horror.

What was Emiline going to think of their new tenant?!
