Okay now, you know I had to comment on my girl Cupcakke's reaction! lmao I mean, I feel you. I was surprised she had so many ridiculous songs on this album as well, I expected a few..well like 6 at most so that was a surprise. But I enjoy her. I think it's more so because I know she can actually rap down when she wants/needs to, so her ridiculous songs don't bother me, I find them funny and comical, but I still can appreciate the way she puts bars on those songs and her writing schemes and witty lines within them. It is a bit much for most people though. I feel like she's doing it also because she enjoys it, because with her level of talent and skill, there's no way she has to rely on the raunchy ridiculous to sell records, she can literally rap circles around almost every rap girl out right now.

Yea Grilling Niggas II made me excited so I was confused when the album wasn’t meeting that same level. Same with Cruella. I wish these female rappers would take that risk to elevate their game instead of sticking to the basic ideas in 2024.

I don't like the sex songs either, except for Water Balloon. But, I think she has bars and lyrically is up their with Nicki Minaj. I liked the diversity in topics like Body Positivity (Aura), Suicide (Rock, Paper, Scissors), and Cruella (Racism) [More than Megan, no shade]. I think she did well with Kpop-type beats with Dementia. Sadly, she will never get recognized for her lyrical talent. Everybody says she only makes sexual songs, but she has more realistic songs; she has songs about her dad leaving her, poverty, etc. But people only will listen to her sexual songs; hence, Deepthroat is her only RIAA-certified song. I guess that's female rap's whole formula since most of the number 1 from female rappers are about sex: WAP, Super Freaky Girl, etc. I'm glad you got to check it out; I hope you go back to Double Homicide because it is a really good song lyrical-wise after the "row row row your boat" part. My favorites are Grilling Niggas 2, Rock, Paper, Scissors, Double Homicide, Dora, Aura, Dementia, Cruella, Cody, and Nun Nun. And I love your review <3

Dee, I went to see her live at Elsewhere in Brooklyn. Come to find out the event was 16+ (i had no idea!) which set off alarms for me. However, it all went downhill when her opener Mel 4 Ever who is a trans woman started stripping and exposed her breasts in front of many minors singing about “treat me like a toilet”! My friend and i were disgusted and left, made a formal complaint, and got our money back. Ive always supported cupcakke because i think shes hilarious but she really needs to be more aware about her opening acts especially when they perform in front of children! They couldve easily made this 18+. Also, this same performer who opened for cupcakke in february this year ended up taking off ALL HER CLOTHES, exposing herself including genitals in front of the crowd. This is according to friend who went, and yes the event was also 16+. I dont mind this kind of entertainment but Elsewhere, BK really messed up including minors at these performances and i let them know about it too!
