I know she hates/denies being called this term but that she is literally the definition of a barb. She loves Nicki and expects her to do better, not worse!

I hate bringing up Beyoncé when speaking about her, but sometimes I do wish that Nicki truly mothered these girls. You cant listen to a Beyonce album and say that there’s no growth or evolution in her music in terms of subject. Beyonce will give topics about social justice to heartbreaks or whatever but we always know where she is in life currently through her music, regardless if you like the album or not. I didn’t Really like Renaissance but you can’t say that Renaissance sounds just like lemonade or her self titled album. I do feel like her lyricism has improved because over the years she probably felt more compelled to go harder because of all the rumors at Safari used to write for her so on Queen she definitely proved that he didn’t. But now IM like Nicki you’re a mother and married woman now, what has life taught you?? Id be lying if I said Nicki albums sound the same because in my opinion they don’t, but I definitely think the inbetween period of waiting for her music be so dragged out because what she’s releasing be same stuff just different tune. I have a little hope that this album might prove me wrong though. Hopefully, we will see…

I want songs like Four Door Aventador, All Things Go, Trini Dem Girls. I want to hear about her actual life and experiences not just "this cookie clean, this cookie squeaky" lol.

Queen was lyrically her best work in my opinion but the delivery is what has declined. 2010-2013 Nicki was different because she would give you crazy bars with a crazy delivery versus now where she might be spittin but not in a way that's as catchy. I think lately she's been getting back to that tho with verses like Endless Fashion & Princess Diana but I hope it reflects in her solo music as well.

I mean she threw away all her other songs except Red Ruby and Last Time I Saw You for this album so hopefully we get a full circle moment! I will say in her defense anytime she speaks on growth and depth in her songs she usually sings in them, but I know you hate Ms. Petty’s singing vocals so I wouldn’t expect you to like those.
