Development Update

I'm almost finished setting up a baseline for the lighting, and I've started working on building the 3D environment - the school currently has 12 main rooms which I need to flesh out, and I'm still in the process of sourcing assets for them. There are also rooms missing from the current building structure which I'm going to need to add, such as toilets and a staff room.
My expertise isn't in 3D modelling, but what I am fairly good at is building processes, so once I have a process for handling the lighting and 3D assets I should be able fly through the process of building the 3D environment ^_^ a few curve balls have already come my way regarding the lightmapping, which have eaten about half a day's progress. however with that pretty much resolved it's just a matter of getting on with the hard graft of building the scenes; http://www.kenney.nl is currently my favourite place for low-poly cc0 models, many of which are perfect for toon/anime settings :D
I've also spent some time building a dedicated Stable Diffusion rig so that I can generate some suitable imagery for things like the skybox and material textures - I understand artists might dislike AI tools, but for someone with coding chops but little art skills it's really came in handy.
I should have some images of the school and surrounding scenery either tomorrow or Wednesday :)
