I’m surprised the studio made that as part of the closing bit. I hear people on both sides of the argument saying it was good/bad. But I can say I haven’t seen any movies (that I can think of) that have done it before or since.
Personally I like going into movies blind, so I guess I’d prefer to have not seen it when I first watched, but I don’t mind really.

Favorite trilogy ever. Partly cause Oct 27 is my bday (was the date they went back to in 1985 from 1885). Also the director (I think?) who owns the rights to it has come out and said as long as he’s got that he’s never letting a reboot/remake happen and likely never make additional sequels without the original cast and a worthy story. Which, with Chris Lloyd’s age now and Michael J Foxs condition now just won’t happen. But just a great fun trilogy of movies that always make me happy
