NEW TV SHOW... just checking in

(FYI, I hate the Patreon comments. That's twice now it's submitted before I was ready...) Super late to the party here, so I get if you've already picked a direction. Anyways... I'd rewatch GOT with you and Domi just for the you and Domi angle, but it's not a show I'm thrilled to rewatch. I enjoy Supernatural, so that would be fun, but it's a BIG commitment, what with 15 seasons! I usually only do YouTube edits for that show because it can get overwhelming on the time commitment aspect and I don't *love* love it the way I love Buffy and can rewatch full episodes over and over and over and over and never get tired of it. The other shows aren't ones I've watched. My reactor worthy shows are Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse, Supernatural, and Veronica Mars (I think this show gives reactors issues on YouTube with blocks possibly?) and possibly comedies like The Good Place or Community.

Thor, I just saw the official trailer for "Better Call Saul" season 6. It's dropping soon. I'd actually love a reaction to the final season on this channel (if possible). I'd definitely vote for that above any other option on this poll. Just saying :)

WandaVision is one of my favorites period! I have enjoyed the other marvel shows too, and I think each show has its own style, shock factors and makes me love Marvel even more than I thought I could ☺️ The other show that doesn’t get enough love and I’m shocked doesn’t have a bunch of reactions to is Jessica Jones. Yeah, honestly, I never finished it either. I think I stopped somewhere around season 6 or 7? I kind of lost interest after Kripke left and the style changed. But I still really want to finish it someday!!

If I may recommend a show that is brilliant but unlike anything on your list even though my vote went to Doctor Who I highly recommend peaky blinders it's different from any show you have reacted to and is completely compelling I do not think you would be at all disappointed.

Wandavision and Daredevil are def the best of the marvel bunch. Supernatural is good but thats gonna take you a looong time and Buffy was really it's mother of sorts lol. Kind of similar.

I agree! I voted for Supernatural too. But it's loooooooooong! I still need to watch the last few seasons, because I always get a bit a bit full of it all before I reach the ending lol, but maybe that's because I'm trying to binge it...which...you can't really do, because it's so loooooong!! 🤣

Can I recommend Firefly if you get another gap coming up. It’s not too long but another Joss Whedon show I really enjoyed and it has a movie to watch after which ties up loose ends. Also an excellent cast. I will cast my vote for the shows you have at the moment for the one I’d prefer.

If you're doing another show, and don't want to get super busy, I'd say wait until it's time for the "Angel" spinoff, since you'd have to watch them in tandem. But if you're not considering "Angel", then go ahead with whatever you're interested in seeing! 😊

It's been interesting reading everyone's opinion here. I will say, I'm not entirely sure why you're considering another show Thor. A lot of these are big shows. Maybe your schedule will free up in a few months but you seem to be crazy busy right now. There were also some Buffy comments and I'd agree that this show alone is already a huge investment (not that you're obliged to complete it of course) and that's without 'Angel' which I'm sure you'll be checking out as well. You know your schedule better than anyone and it's always cool to watch something new, I just hope you won't burn yourself out :)

I voted Who with the assumption you'd start with 2005's Eccleston. I'm SO due for a rewatch. If you haven't seen it yet, it starts slightly hokey, but it quickly turns compelling. (Where it went downhill and even if it did is sorely debated but you're fairly safe with Doctors 9-11)

Please react to Dr. Who :D I would love to see another reactor react to it. Because I myself started just 4 months ago. It has been a great journey so far. BTW I started with New Who Series 1 Episode 1. That´s a good start :) Also please do consider the tv show Dark. It´s a very deep show and a liiittle more complicated than usual. But it is one of the best tv shows ever made. :) By the way, before you start watching "Dark" one day, do NOT and I really mean it, look up anything about the show. The spoiler potential is enormous. The only thing you have to know, please watch it subbed, not dubbed. Because the dubbed version is really bad.

While I’m all for more collabs with Domi, as someone who has also watched GoT, why would you put someone else through that? I am partially kidding - the show was truly great for a long time, until the show runners unfortunately “kind of forgot” how stories work. I voted for Daredevil and WandaVision because WandaVision is my favorite of all the shows listed. And also, combined, it’s a lot shorter than each of the others.

WandaVision is my favorite of the Marvel TV shows so far, and while I liked Daredevil I feel like the combo just doesn't jive. I know this isn't an open forum, but I'd love to see your reaction to Firefly. It's Joss Whedon so already somewhat familiar, and limited because it's only a half a season + a movie. Just make sure you research the proper viewing order for the episodes if you ever consider it :)

Hawkeye is better than WandaVision. Jessica Jones instead of Daredevil. Wonderfalls is great and only 10-13 episodes. Firefly for the WIN! (IF you've done any of these already, sorry I didn't check first)

A Game of Thrones watch with Domi as the newbie and you as the jaded veteran (lol) sounds like a lot of fun! Supernatural... would be an odyssey haha. It's longer than Buffy and Angel combined. Unfortunately I haven't seen the others, so I can't comment on them.

I’m voting Supernatural so I hope it wins. I only caught bits and pieces on TV but I have feeling you’ll like the comedy in that show. I think it may have some deeper themes too and since you like sibling relationships I do think this is the best option. As for GoT, I’ve seen it already, that’s the only thing.

It's definitely a good place to start. There's several places in 2005 Who you could start, because it's not very gatekeepy when it comes to necessary prior knowledge. But I'd think you'd really enjoy starting with Rose. It has similar "campy but occasionally heartbreaking" vibe as Buffy.

It's certainly where I'd recommend starting. Mainly because the older series come from a totally different type of TV production. I mean, we didn't have catch up yet in 2005 but the writers knew there'd be a DVD release, so they were mindful that people might binge-watch.
