According to my saved wips that I put together here, I've spent 5-6 hours only on the drawing n sketching. Colour corrections afterwards is not included in this number.
I've encountered with the better angle view in sfm after working around 3 hours on the project (that's the very first pic of this gif). After that, I hesitated a bit, but continued and tried to finish it fast somehow, cuz I already liked the drawing anyways. Tried to not make a fuss about the flaws of the sketch.. (which I still kinda try to resist xd)
Was constantly looking at some google images for help for the muscles, also some of the saved venom fanarts from a japanese artist (I adore their works, they look so amazing imo) and even my own stuffs to see how I drew some details before.
