Looking at Terror on the Prairie and The Daily Wire "Media Empire"

This was just supposed to be a review of Terror on the Prairie, but luckily for all of you, I found some stuff that was far more interesting to talk about while making it. While digging into the Daily Wire's push to expand their offerings, I ended up learning all sorts of things about how they popularized their content on Facebook, and I have my own hypothesis for what they're trying to do with this big new initiative.

Another fun fact about the making of this video is that I was horribly sick while editing it together. As usual, if I messed anything up, please let me know. Considering the fever I had while working on it, I'm sure I missed a few things. It's also a little flatter than usual I think, but luckily my stuff is already pretty flat. Also, I'm feeling much better now.

Currently I am diving deep into another sitcom retrospective, although I will be ready in a heartbeat to take a step away for another project I have if that Tucker Carlson special should air. Either way, I still have plenty of fun stuff for the future. I hope to see you all continue supporting me! Thank you!

Good video! Thank you.

Thank you for all the kind words! If you're looking for a decent female-led western, the other movies I mentioned are all decent choices. If you're into artsy stuff that challenges the three-act structure with a very slow pace, Meek's Cutoff is really compelling. Calamity Jane was also a lot of fun if you enjoy a bouncy musical (although Annie Get Your Gun has a slightly better score), and The Quick and the Dead is great if you want a very flashy western. The only one I wouldn't personally recommend is Hannie Caulder.

Another good video. It's really disappointing to see that there are in fact movies on their platform with some kind of potential (a female-led western, a debut horror), but that they're wasted on the DW. It would've been interesting to see what these movies might have been in different hands (in terms of writers, directors, producers, etc.). Plus, I've always been interested in westerns but have felt isolated from the genre. It would have been nice to have something new to add to my watch list. Didn't notice any major mistakes, but your videos are often too engrossing for me to properly put my editor's cap on, haha. Sorry to hear you were sick, glad that you're feeling better, and hope that you clear that last 5% soon! Thank you as always for your great work.
