Jimmy Dore and How Left Wing Criticism Goes Bad

It's always a bit of a risk responding to content that is supposedly on your own side of the political aisle. But after watching weeks of this guy's content, I'm pretty confident in calling it superficially leftwing. If you're someone who enjoys his videos, I hope you go into this one with an open mind.

I had been considering making a video about Jimmy Dore for a while, but what put me over the top was thinking up that CIA joke in the opener. At first I was just going to do a whole video about the ridiculous idea of the CIA funding leftwing YouTube response videos, but the more of Dore's content I watched, the more I wanted to mention. The very last section on January sixth was a very late addition, but after researching that for my Patriot Purge, I felt like it needed to be done.

There was also a section about one of the "good" videos I saw while researching Dore's content, to create a bit of balance. But honestly, I had to include so many caveats that by the end of it I'm sure people would have thought I was just presenting another bad one. And in retrospect, it was another bad video. So for the few weeks I spent watching everything on his channel, there were no good videos. That's kind of the tone for my video.

Also, for anyone wondering what happened to the monthly updates. My release schedule has been a little quick lately, so I haven't had time to reflect on how things are going. But after this video I expect a slight gap, unless I can get a hold of a book I've been trying not to spend any money on. I've also been trying to fold updates into new video announcements.

Like this: at the moment, I'm hoping my next video out will be either a book review, or maybe a movie review. Though it depends on if anyone cares about that new Daily Wire movie. Also, for those wondering about the next sitcom retrospective, I got a huge jump on it over the last two weeks. Still at least a month away, but it's one a lot of people have been asking for.
