This special was a real challenge. Part of it was the sheer density of claims. It was hard to isolate most of them and tackle them one at a time. And there was at least one thirty second rant that I had to ignore entirely because it would have taken fifteen minutes just to respond to it. To give you a sense of how ridiculous it was, it ended with the claim that the American government was cooperating with ISIS.
There are a few parts of this video I'm not 100% sure are clear, so if there are any questions, please let me know. Particularly around the Whitmer kidnapping plot. The conspiracy theory there is so thin that the debunk was tough to explain.
Also, as usual, please let me know if there are any technical errors that need to be fixed. If you notice several blue screens letting you know footage has been censored, it's because some of the stuff I personally refused to show, and some of it got the video blocked behind an 18+ gate on YouTube.
And if you are wondering about that sitcom retrospective that has been in limbo, there's no real news, which is, in a way, good news, as I'm currently waiting for some copyright claims to lapse. There's a decent chance that the video will be available for patrons in December, maybe sooner rather than later. But that remains to be seen.
I am hard at work on the next retrospective though, and I'm roughly two thirds of the way through actually watching the show, so assuming that one doesn't end up in copyright purgatory, it might come out early next year. Here's hoping anyway!
Thanks again to everyone for your support!
