Power Surge and other problems.

This afternoon we were hit with a power surge which destroyed my main computer. The computer has no working lights. Fortunately I do have a weaker backup PC, I attempted to salvage the art on the hard drive but found that the drive is corrupted. I was smart enough to back up most of my artwork on an external drive. But unfortunately not all of my art survived I have lost likely the last 2-3 months of work along with a computer worth over 2 grand. My other devices including my drawing tablet seem to be working properly as they were attached to another outlet. Work should still continue with my backup PC. But I need an effecient and powerful computer to do art effectively. I would greatly appreciate any donations people could put forth. I’ve opened up the 50$ tier and have had to make some changes. Instead of offering individual sketches I will do one exclusive illustration for that tier, voted on by the group. With the shortage in chips and rising cost of electronics it’s likely many companies are cutting corners in pre built computers. Which means the most cost effective way to get a computer is to build one myself. It will take time to accumulate the parts. All donations will go toward buying new equipment.
