Old Landfall

The lost colony was a tall wooden-wall, rangy-built river fort, damp as a  swamp and with lean, cruel, predatory escapements. Its torches dimmed  and the few clues about the colonists’ whereabouts included the letters  “KHUTULUNN” carved into its walls.

Cathedral Mound
