Added 2020-08-01 14:12:18 +0000 UTCWell, finally managed to finish the last details of the model and do a nice FBX export for Substance Painter. Time to do some texturing and set up the materials :)
If you were interested - I use a clever tool to place smaller geometry on bigger surfaces called Advanced Painter Script for 3ds Max. It allows you to paint, scatter and randomize stuff while painting it over a selected surface. It's perfect to place instances of one model aligned to another model's surface. I just love it. I attached two pics of this stage. In the first one I place a chosen item with a brush and then I fine-tune the position with local transform gizmo.
As for materials - what you can see in the pictures is a dummy setup. The final materials are still to come. There will be some jewelry sculpting and adding dirt and roughness. Also I'll be drawing the whole dress floral pattern by hand :D since it doesn't repeat itself that much :) I did some placeholder materials so far.
