"Half a days hike from the nearby town and you start to enter the forest. The townsfolk there had been mighty kind but deeply worried that some of their number had gone missing.

With the monsters that roam these forsaken lands you're not surprised but if the townsfolk want to offer coin for finding their friends who are you to argue.

Up ahead a simple woodcutters cabin lies between the trees, perhaps they've seen the lost villagers ..."

Hey All,

Sooooo this was super fun to do. Many little fiddly elements to bring together meant it was a challenge but I'm really happy with how it's worked out. I want maps where you can peal back the layers to get to the details beneath, so that you as the DM can reveal elements as they come to light.

So you have the simple exterior shot of the cabin, and then as the players enter they can see the simple cramped living space of the woodcutters.

However, it wouldn't be DnD unless it had some nefarious underbelly, and it looks like this Woodcutter seems to have some extra curricular activities and might know where those missing people have gotten to after all. Ultimately with all these little elements I'm building up to make your classic inn or tavern that can be modular and made just how you'd like it.
