Please vote in the Song vs. Soll poll (it's a big one!)

We're doing Lorde's "Royals" vs. Billie Eilish's "bad guy". I think we could get the most votes ever for it.

If Weird Al kept making parodies, what do you think his “Bad Guy” parody would be? I’d wager he’d call it “Pad Thai”.

Christian Reiswig

Royals inspired my all time favourite Weird Al parody "Foil"

Adam F

Can't pick. Both good.

Royals is maybe my least favorite song in Lorde's discography but it really was revolutionary enough for people to make her responsible for everything they've ever hated in music since then like it was her fault, so I'm gonna go with it.

Gotta be Bad Guy for the bass line alone. Sure Lorde's Royals came along at a time it was badly needed and Lorde inspired a load of wannabes who couldn't tie her shoes. But if you ask me which one would I rather listen to it's the song where a teen girl says she might seduce my Dad cos it's got a groove. Both women are very much appreciated in the popular music though

Royals started feeling kind of self-important and vacuous after the first hundred or so times I heard it. Bad Guy at its worst is insistent and childish, but if i'm in a sarcastic, childish mood really chewing the scenery while singing along never fails to make me smile.

Wish I could vote for Mac Glocky's cover of "Bad Guy", I just cannot stand Billie in any capacity Soooo the only Lorde song I've ever heard is my pick lmao

Curious Bowser

I'm more into Lorde's music than Billie's, but Royals was never among my favourites among her discography. So I'll have to go with Bad Guy.
