This episode gave me so much anxiety, since the BIGGEST weakness Subaru has, isnt to be killed, but captured and kept alive, the risk of his save point moving forward and for all mistakes to be set in stone is scary lol.

Also Betty has a Gospel and she did seem to know Petelguse, everything does point to her being a part of the Witch Cult. I wonder how much does she truly know about everything? Here we learn more about the barrier conditions. Turns out Frederica has more human blood in her than beast blood, unlike Garfiel. And if she was able to leave, that means that the barrier can only hold demihumans with equal amounts of human and beast blood. You probably also noticed before, but Ryuzu does seem to wear different clothes. She also has given a few different names, the first time we see her come inside the house after Subaru and Emilia wake up after the trial, the name she gave was Ryuzu Bilma. Here she swore on someone called Ryuzu Shiima. It makes a lot more sense now that Garf here gets a lot more angry about the scent on Subaru, because from what I said in the last comment, one of the requiremets for the trial is that you would be acknowledged by a witch. Technically speaking, any Archbishop could probably do the trial if they were mixed blood and came from outside the barrier. So it would make sense for Garf here to get mad about it, since Witch Cult is never up to anything good. Considering Subaru's past, where he needed to make himself look like a food by doing stupid stuff back in school to get popularity and "friends", it's finally really nice to see Subaru have an actual true friend in Otto. Otto is such an underrated character I feel like. Subaru wasn't laughing at Otto but himself, for not understanding and noticing it sooner.
