I finally watched Interstellar!!! (/≧▽≦)/ What a crazy movie, it was a bit difficult to understand because of all the science talk but that twist at the end!!!!!! 😱 It was mind blowing!!!!
I hope that you will enjoy watching it with me ⸜(。˃ ᵕ ˂ )⸝♡ 💖

Interstellar (2014) Movie Reaction/Review

Comments

wow thank you so much for the detailed explanation! 🥰I feel like I understand better about gravity and black holes now 😆 I find this topic to be very interesting despite it being hard to fully understand for me 😅

Everything you see in this movie could be theoretically possible, and yes time is relative, seconds, minutes, hours, etc… those are just human inventions so we can read time, but in reality time is relative and it all depends on gravity, speed and other metrics, but gravity being the most important, this is why this movie emphasizes the importance of gravity, because if you harness gravity you can do anything, even travel faster than light, just like light can’t escape a black hole because of his enormous gravitational pull, with gravity you can bend space and time just like a wormhole, so yeah in another planet far away from ours time runs slower and there is also other planets where time runs faster than ours, all because of the gravitational pull of each planet, I love this movie because this movie was initially the idea of a physicist I love, Dr. Kip Thorne and he’s the one who made all the theories and mathematics for this movie to be the closest we can get to reality, so the movie was made in 2014, so maybe some theories turned out to be wrong, but that’s not a problem, because he was able to help Christopher Nolan to do a movie very close to the science of back in 2014, even the black hole Gargantua in this movie is so close to reality which is crazy, because the first picture of a true black hole was only taken 5 years after the release of this movie, Kip Thorne was able to do an almost perfect simulation of a black hole in 2014, 5 years before we could see a real black hole, only in 2019 we were able to take a picture of a real black hole And about the black hole, everything that gets sucked into the black hole falls into the singularity, but because of the enormous gravitational pull, a human dies while falling into the singularity, the singularity is the start point, the core of the black hole, how black holes are created ? Normally they are created when a big star dies, when big stars with a gigantic mass dies, they don’t dissipate into the void, they kept they form for thousands and thousands of years until they run out of any energy to burn and once that happens all the metal that composed that big star will implode and hit the core so fast and strong it will create a supernova what results after the supernova is the core of that big star will stay intact and the mass of the core will be so big that it will a create a gravitational pull so gigantic it becomes dark and all light stays trapped inside the gravitational force, creating a black hole and that single dead star core is called the singularity and in theory keeps the answer how to control gravity You also asked what was the solution to the equation, well if we knew we would have already left planet earth lol so we don’t know what is the quantum data inside a black hole, we only think the answer is in there, but we don’t know at all, that last part were she found the solution for the equation and made those stations able to control gravity, that’s the biggest part of the sci-fi because we aren’t even sure if the answer is inside a black hole, we only think it is

oh wow that is a lot of interesting info!! thank you for explaining them, yea I could tell it's crazy stuff I just didn't understand it haha so thank you for that 🥰😆

I'm glad you got to watch it! Once you understand a bit of the science, the movie is very well made! A few things to help you understand: Gravity affects how quickly time flows. stronger than our own gravity = Time goes slower for the person in the stronger gravity (changes alot near extreme gravity) Spinning creates Artificial (not real) gravity! So no way to stay young forever by spinning sorryD: Spinning pushes things outward. (this is called centrifugal force) Example: If someone has ever grabbed your hands and spun you and lifted you off the ground, or you've done that to someone, if you/they let go whoever gets sent flying! But if they had something to stand on, that spins with them at the same speed they were spinning before letting go, like a flat surface or a wall (like the spinning ship in the movie) they would just stand on it because of the force of the spin pushing their body towards that surface/wall. When the ship was spinning, it didnt really seem like much, but centrifugal force can be extremely strong! The farther you are from the center of the spin, the quicker the G-Force multiplies (G=Earths gravity). You can easily reach 5G-10G (5 or 10X earth's gravity) doing a spin what was shown. At 1G if you weigh 100 pounds and ur muscles are tuned to that, it'll feel like normal, 100 pounds, but at 2G you will feel like you weigh 200 pounds, at 5G you will feel like you weigh 500 pounds, at 10G you will feel the weight of 1000 pounds pushing onto you, not to mention your blood will be unable to move naturally because it is being pushed one direction, so yeah~ A faster spin can easily cut off blood supply to the brain if spun too fast or too far from the center of the spin for too long, and cause a black out. The waves were the size of mountains because gravity affects wave size, that's why the moon affects the waves on earth, because of the moon's own gravity.

It was a bit difficult to understand because of all the science stuff in it haha but I still had a lot of fun watching it 😆

wow that is crazy, for sure the whole thing was very mind blowing I wasn't sure if it was all real or fiction 😱 it's super interesting for sure!!! and scary too when you think about that time difference 🥹

SprinkleVerse

Yeah, pretty much everything in Interstellar is backed by real science. Christopher Nolan worked with a Nobel Prize physicist to make sure the movie followed actual physics. The black hole Gargantua wasn’t just some CGI guess they literally used Einstein’s equations of General Relativity to simulate it. The black hole looks exactly like scientists think it would, with light bending around it because of gravity. The crazy time differences on Miller’s planet are a real thing called time dilation, Even the huge waves on that planet make sense, they’d happen from extreme tidal forces caused by the black hole. the movie adds a bit of creativity for drama, but they did an amazing job.

Woah, I wasn't expecting this reaction. It's pretty confusing with all their time stuff. Hope you like it! The theme is really good too.
