Also the barriers can't cancel the use of skills, the skills' effects are just being weakened. The barriers aren't cancelling the skills because they're are inferior versions of Hinata's, which means they aren't as powerful as Hinata's ¨Holy Field¨.

The form that his doppelganger took is called Glutton in the LN, it uses the mimic ability of Gluttony to make a body designed for combat, it acts off of only instinct and a want to devour everything.
