Sittin by the shitter

We just landed in Phoenix and wow! Boy was that a trip! Fortunately, Haley thought ahead and ordered a wheelchair so that I didn’t have to walk through the airport. My foot is not broken, it’s a bad sprain but it’s not broken, that’s great news! It was nice to have some help through the airport however, Haley‘s always thinking one step ahead.

I always think it’s funny when we end up sitting at the back of the plane right next to the shitter. That is the theme of our trip today. No matter what, there’s a line of people endlessly drawn like a moth to a flame, into a flimsy folding door, opening and closing while the furious frenzy of fart fragrance is wafting from said shitter to our non reclining seats. Other than that it was a smooth and uneventful flight just like I like it. I’m glad I got to sit next to Haley, we definitely had a trippy trip.

We got to the hotel in Phoenix and lugged all of our bags, 5 of them, into our rooms and as I was walking around my room which was noticeably outdated, carpet peeling up from the floor, holes in the ceiling from water damage, my eyes glanced upon some thing that made me audibly gasp. For some reason there is a sink in the middle of the room and the bottom of the sink was busted out. I could clearly see a used condom, a roach, and what looked to be a crack rock or some type of yellow brownish type of rock underneath the busted up sink. Who knows, I wasn’t getting close enough to really look at it, it could’ve been a Gummy Bear for all I know but it was all pretty disgusting. I looked to the side of the sink there was some sort of liquid that had been splashed all down the wall, it was brown, I was over it.

I went into the bathroom to use the restroom and wash my hands and there was used towels and a pair of glasses on the sink… Needless to say, we moved hotels, all is good. The staff was very understanding and I felt bad for them. They said they had been trying to tell management that the cleaning service was not right for quite some time. I didn’t want anybody to get in trouble over it or give anyone a bad evening, I just wanted to get to a clean hotel. And we did!

I am currently in a nice clean hotel with a beautiful view of Camelback Mountain in Phoenix. I love that the crew takes such good care of us. All I have to do is let them know that somethings not right and they’re on it, making it right. It’s so strange, I checked the yelp reviews myself and they all sounded really good, but the place was just gnarly. I was the only one with a weird room, everybody else’s room was fine in the first hotel. I got video it’s pretty gnarly though. I’m probably gonna post it up at some point, I’m just too tired to do it right now. Haley and I have ordered some GrubHub and I am currently laying in bed with a heating pad on my back and my foot up. It’s been a good travel day even though it was an adventurous and wild one. I remember not so long ago we didn’t have the option of moving from a shitty hotel to a clean hotel. I’m thankful every day that I wake up that we have more resources and options now. But I do have to say that some of the best times of my life I’ve been had and dirty shitty gross hotel rooms😂 I hate to say it but it’s true. That said, I’m still really thankful to be in a clean bed tonight with no used condoms on the floor.😂

Tomorrow is a new picking day out here in Arizona so I’m gonna get some rest cause I feel like it might be a hot one. I’ll let you know all the details tomorrow🎉🎉🎉
