My Grand Doggers
Added 2022-03-07 14:18:04 +0000 UTCWednesday I get to go see my kids Miles and Memphis, their partners, my nieces their partners and 2 of my grand doggers!

Memphis and her partner Oliver rescued both of these dogs here in Puerto Rico so we got to watch them grow up and get comfortable with life and we got to spend so much time with them every day. It feels so different having all of the kids gone off the island now including my Grand Doggers.
We will meet up in NOLA, celebrate the January birthdays that we all had to miss because of Covid and enjoy some downtime together as a family. I’m excited to go see my friend Ingrid Lucia, as well, she just wrote an incredible book about her life story. I can’t wait to read it.
So I guess this is the beginning of my road dog diaries. I will be on the road for the next 3 to 4 weeks and I’m having a lot of mixed feelings about it. I was able to take some downtime for my mental health and that has been a blessing but I will admit it is hard to feel inspired to go back to work right now with so much happening in the world. I think I’m balancing a lot of emotions, fears, insecurities just like everybody else in the world. I’m thankful to wake up every day and be surrounded by people I love, have food and shelter and the beautiful ocean and everyone and everything that I care about. I’m deeply thankful every day. I am also deeply upset to leave this place that I love so much. But there is a whole big beautiful world out there to discover, isn’t there? I’m lucky to get to see it all.
I’m addition, I get to go be with my road crew, work family and I am thrilled to be able to spend time with everybody again. So many feelings today… I’m just going to stop there because I don’t really know how to vocalize all of it right now.
I’m Sending you all love, I hope that you’re able to face your struggles head on, stay focused, be patient with yourselves, be patient with the people around you.
All I know is I can’t wait to see my grown babies and my for babies.💗
