A hearty “whatever”…

I feeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel it!!! Your collective corporate mouths wrote checks your ass’ couldn’t cash. Now folks are done. I’m one of the lucky ones who chose to rage it with my friends instead of pledging loyalty to a corporation. It worked out for me. It’s been a hustle and a frustration on my worst days but a blessing and source of light and hope on my good days.

Remember, if you’re going to help build someone else’s dream, be sure they’re invested in yours.

There are employers out there who care, my boss is proof of that. You might not find it right away but look for it till you find it. Don’t let the bastards get you down.

Very wise words ❤️

Working for Uncle Sam (both as a civilian and in the Army), I’ve had good supervisors and very toxic supervisors over the last 29 years. I’ve been lucky the last couple years with very good supervisors who have let me set my schedule outside “core hours” because they understand the length of my commute and to allow me some semblance of work/life balance.

May I share this, censoring your name, of course?

I've been lucky enough to work in our family restaurant for over 40yrs. Nothing better than going to work each day with people you love!! Not getting rich but who cares....wouldn't want any other life! 🍝 😀

Not sure what to say. I started working at a very young age and before I joined the Army I was told by my father to respect myself and not allow anyone take advantage of my performance. Retired since I was 40 and yes they tried but I am aware of my potential and had the strength to walk away. Now I walk my own path and I love it. I understand not everybody is lucky like I was and yes I had rough times too. Blessed Be
