A special peek into this week’s work.
The ocean has been such a deep blue lately. The water has been flush with fishes and sea life. In fact it’s so full of life near the shores lately that we have had larger predators coming very close to the shore.
In the last 2 weeks we have noticed a 12 ft nurse shark, 4 ft nurse shark, 2 giant sting rays, a family of 9 cuttlefish, a gold spotted eel, a beautiful balloon fish, octopus, blue tang, slippery dicks (yes that’s a real fish), 7 manatee, and a trigger fish etc!
In the past I’ve not seen such large sea life in the marina where everyone swims.
It’s strange but hasn’t been a problem in any way.
The locals and tourists alike love seeing the sea life and so do we! I’m hoping that everyone will maintain a safe distance for the sake of the wildlife as we are visiting their home, under their rules, each time we enter the water.
More to come...
