I’ve been playing a guessing game with a few of my plants because the sun bleached out the markers.
I could not figure out this plant for the life of me because it was too small to photograph and identify on my plant identifier app.
Finally when I came back from old San Juan yesterday evening I saw how big it was and I was able to finally identify it.
It’s Australian spinach! I’m finding out that kale and spinach grow really well out here in the tropics. Planting more is definitely in my plans.
It’s such an interesting history of farming on the island. So many plants grow incredibly well out here yet there are so few farmers. Why?
