Upon Returning

To the Island, I realized quite a few things.

It’s definitely going to take me some time to get my thoughts together on all of my realizations, but I come home with a full heart.

Thankful for my road family, thankful for my island family, thankful for my children and my incredible friends and this beautiful island full of history and extraordinary humans and my tiny little plunge pool.

I’m stuck in the house on quarantine for the next two weeks or until my test Covid results come back negative. I thought I was supposed to take the test right when I came back to Puerto Rico but as a found out, you have to wait three or more days before you can take the test. For the most accuracy, you can’t take it right away. After I take the test in a couple of days, I will send it out and I should get my results back within 3 to 5 days. It’s a basic spit test.

So, in the meantime we have been working on some relaxing beautiful content for you.

Here’s one photo teaser for you. Of course super volcano tier will get the extended unedited video and the entire unedited photo set.

Volcano tier will get a lengthy but edited version and I will certainly make a pg13 edited version for everybody else but I feel so happy about this day of filming. Again, “thankful” is the only word I can use to describe how I feel.

Having just traveled the country, working 2 weeks straight, on 7 picks, in 12 hotels and 4 states, seeing so many people out of work, homeless, under represented etc. gives me such heavy feelings. I keep reminding myself to help my community, that’s all I can do.

While I’m not doing that, Spending my time creating beautiful art for you is my favorite thing to do and it is a privilege, I understand that. So I’m going to enjoy every moment of it. Fully understanding that nothing lasts forever.

We must cherish these moments together.

I will be spending the next month working hard on stripping history and a couple of other projects since I have the time. I’m so excited to flood you with content both educational and erotic.

I just want to take a moment to say that you all have no idea how much you keep me going while I’m on the road. It can be incredibly lonely and stressful and overwhelming at times and being able to have this outlet with all of you lovely people allows me some sort of socialization (even if distant). This is a very special community we have built on here. I’m thankful for each one of you that has been a part of it. I understand that money is tight and I deeply appreciate your contribution to ensuring that I can keep preserving and researching the history of striptease and sex workers.

There is power and beauty behind these “socially flawed” figures. Many of them were confidants to kings, dignitaries and celebrities and kept touch with the common folks. These historical figures often cared for large communities.

These are stories that matter and I’m thankful that also you appreciate the art I put before you

One of the most beautiful pictures I have seen of you. I love them all but this one made it to my cell phone cover picture. Love them.

What a beautiful picture and that’s my laptop background for the foreseeable future, but your always my wallpaper. Many of your photos are art in themselves and deserve to be on gallery walls. You’re incredibly photogenic and have those Monroe qualities who is the only other woman who gets wall space in my home. I look forward to seeing what other treasures quarantine brings us. X

I love the exchanges of ideas and love that occur on your page, Danielle. And as for your revelations on Stripping History, I find them so interesting because you don't just speak of these people as an objective researcher. You give them humanity; you advocate for them. You show us the important roles they played in the society of their time. You take away the lascivious aura they developed over the years and let them be people. You're very special...

Glad you’re safe at home with your King and fur babies. 🖤 Got another book recommendation for you if you haven’t already read it. Just don’t ask me any questions about it because I read it four years ago, but I apparently liked it because I gave it four stars on Goodreads. 😂 Scarlet Women: The Scandalous Lives of Courtesans, Concubines, and Royal Mistresses by Ian Graham

Thank YOU. Glad you are home safe 💕
