Oooh thank you for the tip on how to disolve bodies more efficiently 💕

"How come acid will burn through a person?"
Lexi, I'm so glad you asked! Strong inorganic acids (ones that don't contain carbon) react with water and give out significant amounts of heat in the process. Our cells are full of water so if we come into contact with these acids this reaction takes place, killing cells and causing burns.
Hydrofluoric acid (what they use here) is actually a fairly weak acid. It is however an excellent solvent, meaning it can dissolve things. It is a polar solvent (i.e. the electrical charges within the chemical are not evenly distributed). Polar solvents dissolve other polar things, such as proteins, carbohydrates, glass, porcelain, etc. They cannot dissolve anything that is not polar though, such as the polyethelene container Walter requested. Having said all that, it wont actually dissolve a body like they show here. But it will certainly dissolve calcium right out of your bones, so it is dangerous to use.
A better approach to dissolving a body would be to use sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide. These are very alkaline, which is the opposite of acidic. With enough heat, these chemicals can dissolve a body over several hours.
I hope you enjoyed this chemistry lesson. I realise I have done nothing to disprove Domi's theory that all chemistry teachers must be psychopaths. ;)

It’s not gonna be this bad again. There’ll still be some struggles in the next two eps but after that things will finally start going our way

Hope y'all can work out the syncissues in future episodes! the frequent pausing makes it difficult to watch
