Bryan is totally right about Vicious Circle being the turning point in liking Dane Cook. I remember being so excited for it, HBO aired a sneak peek of one of the bits (I want to say it was during a commercial break before or after Lucky Louie, to really age this). I tried *so hard* to like it, but the friend who was sitting there with me didn't crack a smile and I realized I had fully grown out of him. This episode does a great job of saying why it was a turning point for him, in the negative sense.
