This was the first request from pixiv in a while.

Although pixiv requests are easier in some ways because there is no message exchange, I felt a little uneasy during the process of drawing because I couldn't ask any questions or retake the rough sketch.

I guess it is better to think that they have full trust in me, though.

Also, the amount was a few thousand yen more than Case 7, so I decided to call it between Case 7 and Case 8.

It would be difficult to change the order by a few tens or hundreds of yen, and it would also be difficult to decide how much is higher or lower, so it would be up to me at that time.

I may make a plan between Case7 and Case8 in the future, but for now, basically Case7 is the main request, and if there is an addition, I may give priority to it.

So I don't recommend that you make a top-up to prioritize your request. It's just like a tip or a handout or a support.

However, we would feel bad if we received a large amount of money and nothing was given, so we may give priority depending on the amount of money.

Since this illustration was meant to be a healthy illustration, I tried to give it a healthy atmosphere.

I thought there was no need to change the facial expressions, so I did not change anything except for the last part of the illustration.

I am not sure if the white liquid is healthy, but it is just white, so there is no problem there.

I think I did a good job of guiding the viewer's gaze this time. Face→pokemon sole→thigh→chest→back to face

This is a circular loop.

By making the light near the head of the Pokémon and the toes of the sole in the middle stronger, we can lead the viewer's eyes from the face to the Pokémon and then to the sole.

I thought it was important to light up the areas that I wanted to show.

You may think that the face is dark, but the eyes are shining first. And since the face is the first thing people look at, they will look at it even if it is dark. Therefore, in order to lead the viewers to the feet, which we want them to see the most, we intentionally kept the face dark and led the viewers to the feet.

This is not something I was taught, but it is just my interpretation of what I saw in the paintings of good painters, so that is probably the reason.

I believe that trial and error is important, so I repeatedly make a hypothesis, test it, and verify it.

When I think about it, I feel that being a painter is similar to being a researcher.

But repeating trial and error applies to everything, so perhaps all people are like researchers.

I heard somewhere that researchers never fail. This is because failure is always a part of research. You can't make an airplane from the beginning, and you can't invent electricity, because there are results after hundreds of failures through repeated hypotheses and verifications.
