Your thoughts
Added 2024-04-14 15:50:56 +0000 UTCAs you can see, I'm taking a break from writing "Game Tycoon." Working on this novel has taught me a lot about storytelling.
I think I rushed the project and overlooked essential elements that make a novel engaging, like character development, interactions, and plot dynamics. I stopped writing because it felt like I was just recounting history, chapter by chapter, and frankly, it became very exhausting. It's been draining my creativity and my enthusiasm for novel writing.
If you're interested, I'm considering rewriting the novel. Perhaps revisiting it could reignite my passion and creativity as the story evolves. What do you think?
Alternatively, I could continue writing it as is, but I might not be able to update it every day.

I don’t mind a re-write

Like Mira had all the marking of an interesting character but she has been pretty much ignored after they got married. Your concerns are valid, but I cant see a rewrite as helping at this stage.

2024-04-14 16:11:54 +0000 UTCGame Tycoon is such a big book. Wouldn't rewriting be more exhausting than continuing the current book? Maybe for the next couple of chapters focus more on interpersonal relationships of the protagonist. Still if you want to rewrite completely your choice. But if possible please don't delete the original in case you choose to rewrite it.

2024-04-14 16:09:38 +0000 UTCWell I’m up for rewriting that book. He grew too big too fast. But that is a 500 chapter book. A lot is covered in those 500 chapters. To rewrite it is a daunting task which can make you burnout real fast. You are also writing 2 other books simultaneously.

2024-04-14 16:01:49 +0000 UTCKeep writing as is. Maybe just cut down on the focus on events from the past if they are draining?
