Normally Universities invite Girl groups or Solo artists. From 2016-2022 WINNER've been invited to 34 University festivals alone. They've been to over 70 festivals over all. The general public knows all their songs. Though the have a small fandom, whenever they release music they're either #1 or in top 10 as they have the general public's support. They're called the trust and listen group.

WINNER is a group of four biases and four bias wreckers. (And we had the same problem back in ot5 era too!) 😂 💙

2023-03-17 00:23:37 +0000 UTCYeah WINNER debuted with a double release. The emotional yet mid-tempo “Empty” and a ballad “Color Ring”. YGE promoted WINNER as MODEL-IDOLS because they’re height, visuals, and talent. So their debut concept was basically MODELS in NEW YORK.. their teasers was them walking in the runway. Their debut album was called S/S 2014 (Spring/Summer) like a fashion show or like Fashion Week. Also, the fact that WINNER was the older trainees 19-22 years old.. they kind were known through WIN as the more mature/emotional songs/image. So, they were seen as very vocal based/contemporary kind of group which was so unique and different from other idol groups at that time. I mean we know WINNER can definitely do upbeat and bright songs.. we also saw that in WIN. However, that was just the image and music that a lot of people associated with WINNER. However, they grew as artists and they should not be put in a one image or genre. So when they went through that hard time of taehyun leaving the group and YGE. They literally had to reset everything and find out what kind of music they can do as 4 members. What is their strength and what kind of music and message they want to relay to their fans. Man… I’m so proud of them..they made such an epic comeback in 2017. They literally regained their popularity and the title “trust and listen” group.
