Halloween magic is in the air and I have been HUFFING that spooky stuff to create all sorts of horror content for your peeping pleasure!! Here's the monthly roundup of all the places you can find me and my work for October. Strange to think the best season is all over for another year already, but there's still plenty of horror to go around as we head to 2025...
P.S. This month's Patreon exclusive stream will be the 3rd of November at 6pm - the first Sunday of the month date WILL become a thing - for the Necromancer Tier. See you soon my little patrelings x

Halloween 2024 - A Great Evil Rises From The Ashes
I might have left PlayStation Access earlier this year, but that doesn't mean I'm not gonna come back and scare them silly at any available opportunity. This year's Halloween special is a day-long event where each host gets a devilish challenge before a spooky party game showdown, with the goal being to win their segments if they hope to banish me from the channel for good. Disgusting foods, anatomical mishaps, and the terror of teamwork all feature in this nostalgic slice of horror-game goodness. It was really nice to just hang out with my mates as much as it was to make a big studio video with 'em.
Ritual Tides is the Lovecraftian Horror Game You Need To Play | Interview with Vertpaint Games
I had the pleasure of hosting an exclusive interview with James Macleod, creative director of Vertpaint Games, on their new horror game coming next year: Ritual Tides. Really excited by everything I've seen and spoken about with James on this one and can't wait to share more with you as we get closer to February when we get a look at gameplay. I absolutely love highlighting indie games and those that make them so this is a real dreamy collaboration. Give it a watch on my main YouTube channel to learn more about the "Jurassic Park" of horror!
The REAL LIFE Horror of The Static Sea
October really is my most powerful month, with not one, but TWO YouTube videos gracing my main channel feed after a few months being a weirdo behind the scenes. Feels very nice to find my voice again and use it to talk all about The Static Sea, an immersive horror experience out on Flat Holm island where we got to bargain with ghosts and try not to become one ourselves. If you both remember and enjoyed the haunted house Dave and I did on Access, this is the same kind of dealio as that. Go on, give the link a little click.
CAN YOU NAME EVERY STEPHEN KING FILM ADAPTATION? | Survival Series
CutScene Survival Series is BACK AGAIN and so AM I. This month's name game extravaganza is centred on getting as many Stephen King movie adaptations as possible, which I had a sneaking suspicion about since Salem's Lot came out in early October. This is already a topic I'm good on and it turns out I also have memory superpowers when it comes to Mr King so please enjoy me fighting for my life in a record-breaking showdown against Tegan, another spooky baddie with a near photographic memory. Goth girls get it done.
REALLY Paranormal Nights Banquet
Josh Brown kindly joined me once again to go to stink up a spooky banquet in celebration of the REALLY channel's Paranormal programming for the month, which you can check out my photos from on Instagram. A fun evening that even had a segment dedicated to trying to converse with ghosts of the Andaz hotel in London. We also caught the press screening of Heretic, in which Hugh Grant is just bonkers good, and did a bunch of tourist stuff since everything happened over a few evenings. Keep an eye on this lil Hash Brown collab cause cool stuff is coming!!
We Love Dad Movies | Episode 76 - Van Helsing
An opportunity to wax lyrical about Van Helsing is never missed in this house, especially when it's with ye olde WhatCulture pals Ewan and Josh! This is just a very joyful yap about one of the best action horror movies of all time and a nice natter with my mates. We Love Dad Movies is Ewan's personal podcast project and is full of interesting, insightful looks at classic 'dad' vibe films, so definitely give it a listen if you're after wholesome Sunday afternoon film recommendations and class craic to go with them.
The NoSleep Podcast
Lots of various appearances in The NoSleep Podcast this month, with a full narration of We Hide in the Hills and a little chorus flavour in The Neighbors in the same episode, as well as a small part in the Strangling Angels portion of the Halloween special. All stories see me play a troubled young woman. Method acting at its finest:
S21E24 We Hide in the Hills - FREE
I have two curated playlists on Spotify that I keep updated with NoSleep voice work, with one for freely available episodes and one for paid episodes listed below. Just to note, paid episodes are ones I've appeared in but past the free listening point, so my contributions are only accessible for those that are NoSleep subscribers:
Chatting Vintage Games Episode 3: Horror | VGC Patreon Podcast
I joined VGC legends Jordan and Chris for their retro games podcast over on their Patreon this month, which was a lovely excuse to dive into all the Silent Hill lore I've built up over this year playing through the games. Unfortunately this one is paywalled, but if you're a fan of VGC's game journalism or want to support a solid British outlet then this pod will be there waiting for you if you sign up.
Peace and love, blood and guts,
Ash xxx
