CAN YOU NAME EVERY PIXAR MOVIE? | Survival Series

Cutscene Survival Series is back with its second episode, and I got to be a part of it again which is very cool and fun. This time the theme was every single Pixar movie ever, and as a spooky horror lady this was... difficult. I've seen lots of Pixar movies, I promise! I used to be a film critic across all genres, I promise!!!!!

I feel like I come across subdued in this but it's because I was STRESSED AND THINKING LOTS. My brain was in overdrive trying not to say Shrek over and over again. Please enjoy knowing that when you watch.

Future Games Show @ Gamescom 2024

The Future Games Show had a Gamescom flavoured showcase of trailers and deep dives, and I got to be a part of it as a guest on the Expansion Pack after show to talk all things vertebrae. If you keep your ears peeled you can hear my voice as narrator of the fantasy section in the main event, which you can watch as a separate video - The Four Most Anticipated Fantasy Games - as well. I always love working with the FGS guys and this was especially fun as we did a very silly segment that should hopefully air soon!

Alien: Romulus UK Premiere

An absolute pinch-me moment this month was getting to see Alien: Romulus at the UK Premiere, full of talent from the movie including director Fede Alverez who gave a little introduction. Ahh!! I was super fortunate to have had a plus one, which meant I got to take my dad, who's the biggest Alien fan I know and has a whole shed of Aliens collectibles. Incredibly cool to have been invited. I've been to one premiere previously, which was Kong: Skull Island, and that was as a journalist with my student magazine, so it was one of those circular moments to be back in Leicester Square in a whole new capacity.

Trap Film Experience

It happened again! I met M. Night Shyamalan on a press trip with Warner Bros. for his new movie Trap, which you can see all the fun details of on the link above. This was a really rad experience full of fun exclusives, like a performance from Saleka, and even a whole murder mystery dinner where I got very invested and shouty. One day I'll learn how to have a drink without turning into a British stereotype.

S2E8 Talking Terror Podcast

I invaded the official Horror Game Awards podcast once again for hosting duties, this time to talk to game director, Chantal Ryan, and techno-genius, Tony Li, about darkwebSTREAMER. It's an upcoming horror game where you play as a streamer surfing the dark web to curate a feed of spooky, weird content to keep your viewers entertained. The deeper you go, however, the more you stretch your sanity. I'm SO excited for this one of the back of this really interesting interview!
