BTS: Cats in Costa Rica

Here's a lil insight to how I've been spending the last week in Costa Rica at Lands in Love! It is crazy hot here but there are so many cats to pet and it is my responsibility to make sure they all have their fair share. Godspeed, me.

I'll round up all my social content once I'm back home and out of holiday mode, but wanted to give you a sneaky peek into what I'm up to in the meantime. And more importantly (!!!) introduce you to these cuties:

The first cat is called Fuego cause he's in the hottest part of the laundry room, then there's Lady Penelope who comes and visits our room every day, and then Big Bert the reception cat who has finally given into my daily affection and accepted he does actually like belly rubs. There's also Lil Grey (aka Greg) who lives by the kitchens and loves a good butt scratch, but every picture I have taken with her I look deranged as she is so lovely, so you'll see her when I control myself enough for a nice photo.

These are the four around the hotel I've seen so far but there's over 200 sheltered at the cat park as part of the Animal Love sanctuary nearby that we visited yesterday. The work the guys do here to support, nurture, and protect animals is incredible to say the least.

P.S. I have also done loads of cool stuff like ziplining, a drop swing, riding an ATV, hiking through the rainforest, and the COOLEST bug hunt as part of a night tour where we saw a bioluminescent click beetle and two scorpion spiders. But... Cats!
