Sorry, I know there were commissions to do, but I seriously haven't gotten a chance to draw this whole week and I had to draw something for myself. Back to commissions next. :)

Everyone's favorite Citroen, Chloé has never slowed down her hobby of self photography, and today I managed to snag one of her newest uploads from her blog, it's entitled "Éclairage" or "Illumination/Lighting" in English.
For those of you not familiar with Chloé's work, understandable as it's been awhile since I last had something of her submitted. She's highly involved in the French art scene and enjoys photography specifically. She's mostly interested in the moody emotional sort of photography, the sort you might find an emo college girl making on Deviantart lol. She prefers monochromatic styling in her work as, in her own words on her blog, "it allows everything in a photo to dissolve together becoming one, a simple emotion filling the entire space. It minimizes implied meaning, blanketing the scene in ambiguity."
She typically doesn't like to leave descriptions under her images, this one for example. As he finds it much more enjoyable to hear what meaning different individuals make of it themselves. Feel free to make your own interpretations below btw, I'll forward them to her. ^^

I love drawing things for Chloé, it really lets me take a break and draw something that feels more traditionally artsy and meaningful, even if it's just a manufactured emulation of artsyness. Plus I actually like shading in grey-scale, it's pretty interesting. Plus the thing about French girls as we were told by Jack Dawson lol.. they all love to take their clothes off. So I get to feel cultured, but not have to sacrifice drawing some of my usual nudity in there too. X)
I'm also quite proud to have a Citroen character, I feel like it's one of those very under-used cars in drawings. I'm proud to be representing one here. :)
Also, I believe this is the first time I've drawn lipstick on one of my characters!
