Can’t wait to see reaction to The Eras Tour

While I’ll be the first to admit that I love to figure things out and speculate things, I think there are times where that’s just not gonna be fully possible. This album and folklore both being examples of that. Parts of this album (as well as Folklore) are definitely autobiographical, Peace and Marjory being examples. However some of it is likely more on the fictional side. So to debate back and forth over it really just kind of keeps people running in circles, and in some ways that’s a good thing because it keeps people thinking. However, whether those stories tell us something about her personally or not, she’s sharing it with us and to constantly speculate about it runs the risk of taking away from the beauty and talent of it all. So I really think these albums specifically should be left up to your own interpretations :)

I think it's great to listen to the lyrics first instead of trying to connect it to taylor. Then after I've applied it to my own life and become familiar with it, I dig into the lore. Which is great cuz it can provide new meanings to the songs. That's why I love taylor so much, no matter how long I've been listening, a song can flip it's meaning for me depending on where I'm at in life :)

April Green

idk if anyone mentioned it during the live but she wrote tis the damn season drunk in the middle of the night. insane.

Love that I got to watch live last night! Love your Christmas tree cheer!

There are keys throughout all of her work, and themes that link story to story/ person to person, including throughout the "fictional" work.

I'mma put it out there. Taylor has never been a fictional writer; she's always been a diaristic writer. She still utilises personal experience but is now wrapping it a little better with metaphor to steer the narrative away from her personal life because it is not sustainable to have the entire planet interested in your personal life and to live as normal life as 'Taylor Swift' can.
