It's actually a continuation of the two filler episodes he skipped earlier this arc, and looking back it that said filler may have been a prototype proposition, or at least the inspiration,for the arc that is currently airing today. Of course they obviously decided to go with a different story, but it is strange to think that Oda would come up in a filler with a look our favorite crew would adopt in a major pivotal arc.

I do think wolves are way cooler though of course. And yeah Sanji has the best one liners, but Zoro is a close second. Great episode as always.
