I love that the first thing Zoro does after the fight isn't some monologue to Mihawk or some speech about how he's seen how far he has to go to overtake the greatest swordsman. Its a vow to Luffy that he won't let HIM down again. Becoming a pirate may not have been Zoro's first choice, but he's committed to doing it right and is absolutely loyal to his captain.

There's so many scenes in this arc that mean something completely different once we have all the information...
Every character's actions and reactions are very well thought out by Oda and a single look from one character that seems like a throwaway shot, the first time around, actually is quite meaningful after we have the full picture.
