I could be wrong, but I think the "I want to shoot it again" conversation wasn't so much about Seung Chan wanting another chance to win Ye Jin over, I think he was more saying that he felt like the way he went about pursuing her was detrimental to their relationship and made her uncomfortable. He wasn't saying he would be "cooler" in order to win her over, I think he meant more that he shouldn't have burdened her with his feelings when he already knew she liked someone else. I think he's basically saying he wants to start over, and at least be friends with her. He still likes her, but he would rather have a comfortable friendship with a crush than be awkward because he made her uncomfortable.
