After seeing your votes, going through the comments and taking into account my own wants I have decided that the next K-Drama that we're watching is going to be Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. But before we kick it off I suggest we watch a movie starring IU called Shades of the Heart. What do you think? 2021-06-08 11:46:48 +0000 UTCI agree that you should watch persona. Although they are quite difficult to understand on the first watch, they are still worth the watch. IU’s part in Shades of Heart is short, but so good. If you are not going to react to it, maybe you can watch it on your own time. Lastly, yessss to Scarlet Heart! I have doubts about it before, but after finishing it, I would say it’s a really good drama overall and you can see the huge improvement of IU’s acting throughout this drama. Definitely looking forward to your reaction!

2021-06-08 11:44:01 +0000 UTCAs what others are saying, iu’s part in shades of the heart is just about 10-15 min long at the very start of the movie. If you want a movie length watch, how about Persona in netflix? It’s a collection of 4 short films with IU in it. It’s about 20min long each. Maybe those might interest you since i feel like you like to dissect and understand things. Im interested in what you think about those short films. They are mostly arthouse-ish type films so some will be kinda weird/experimental but an interesting watch for me still :)

But if you watch it because of IU you will be disappointed, because her role is minor (she appears for 5 min). I dont know, if you will love the Moon Lovers. For me, most of the popular kdramas are meh... There are so much better, but underrated dramas.

You can consider react to Persona series on Netflix instead if you want, there are 4 short films ~20 minutes
