SNSD, TVXQ and f(x) (I've been a SM stan for 10 years lol) and maybe that's why I like this song so much. because I'm used to this kind of music. I also think KPOP is too westernized. As KPOP has become popular since 2018, all KPOP agencies are targeting Western listeners only. and KPOP is moving away from the Korean public. (And Aaron's taste seems to be the opposite of the Korean public's.) It's not a bad thing, and I honestly prefer modernized and westernized KPOP music, but I miss this electronic music sound. + Actually, I never understood that people have a different taste in music until I found Aaron's channel. 😅 I thought there was only really bad music or good music. And i'm glad that i'm changing my mind. 🙂 i'm sorry My English gets messed up when it's a long sentence. I hope you can understand. and thank you for requesting Taeyeon/Girl's Generation !

Lol At first he didn’t like 11:11 because it was slow and just basic, but after a sudden listen in this one fan made video, he liked it at that moment. Music can do that sometimes, maybe one day he’ll like the old fashioned kpop music, once he dives into it. We should let him venture out himself when it comes to finding new sounds of music because onced he listened to 11:11 acoustic version by Taeyeon, he completely liked it. That’s the beauty of music, and you can always give music a second chance. Because I recently listened to CATCH ME by TVXQ, and I used to hate that song sooo much, but as of recent it came on a shuffle and I was bopping to that song, it’s crazy how much I hated it, too liking it a lot all of a sudden. It also went with A.D.T.O.Y by 2pm, love it now, hated it back then.

2021-06-01 09:02:55 +0000 UTCI’m the one who requested Catch Me If You Can because I genuinely thought Aaron would dig it a lil because it was an “old school” type EDM song with powerful dance moves. I’m also the one who requested THE BOYS which is one of their famous songs and the one song that got me into kpop. The reason is to why I haven’t shown him I GOT A BOY, RUN DEVIL RUN, Mr. Taxi, etc.. is because majority do have that “old school kpop” sound that Aaron doesn’t really like. I mean I personally disagree with Aaron lol because I’m 23 and I grew up listening to Pink, *NSYNC, Adam Lambert, Backstreet Boys, T-Pain, basically throwbacks etc.. because I had older siblings so this “old school electronic sound” is what was used during those time period. For kpop I grew up listening too f(x), EXO, Miss A, Big Bang, 2NE1, TVXQ, 4minute, and obviously SNSD. They all have went through the electronic type sound that every kpop songs sounded like, back when kpop songs sounded like actual kpop songs. Nowadays kpop songs are too modernized and westernized which is not a bad thing, but Kpop songs don’t really sound the same back when kpop was at its prime time during 2009-2013... So in a way, I completely understand Aaron not really liking “old school kpop” music because he’s more used to listening to more modern western kpop songs, because they’re more influenced by American musicians in a way.

I can confirm that SNSD is the biggest earner alongside EXO. Please give a chance to other songs such as MR.MR, Run Devil Run.

You should fill that knowledge gap as fast as possible. As for Catch Me If You Can: Personally I like it, but it is not one of their more iconic or succesful songs. You should watch at least Gee, Run Devil Run, The Boys, I Got A Boy, You Think and Lion Heart from them.
