I've seen the first three installments and you've encouraged me to finish the series. Totally agree with you on the first two. "Tuesday the 17th" was a real highlight for me. I'm not usually into slashers, but this was so weird and so stylized. Obviously, I don't need to say anything about "Safe Haven".
I did have an opposite reaction to Viral. "Parallel Monsters" was too gonzo for me not to appreciate. (The director also did Colossal, which I liked even more. It's not what you'd expect from this short!) The frame likewise went really surreal, and was generally okay. Sorry, I had to bail out of the series after "Bonestorm" - it was really long and really repetitive. This movie just seemed to give up on the series concept and I don't think that the "viral" concept even applied to half of the segments.
But yeah, a podcast I listen to (Colors of the Dark) recommended Halloween and you've put everything I haven't seen in the top half, so I guess I'm back in. 94 sounds really good!

So you're into the cinematic bloodletting you say? 😂 Romero's DEAD movies are for you, for sure. Personally I'm attracted to an atmospheric tone of dread in a movie, especially when it delivers in its ending. Se7en and The Thing being the perfect examples.
