I've been a fan of Suspiria since 1999 and yet I've never watched it in anything but English. 🤣 There were definitely some things expanded on in the subs. The sequel, Inferno, is an esoteric masterpiece and possibly my favorite Argento. I would say either it or Tenebre on any given day. Both are much more worth watching than the remake. Oh, and I liked the lighting!

2025-04-30 08:17:20 +0000 UTCI would absolutely recommend the Suspiria remake. I love them both! As far as other more vibey horror recs: the sequel Inferno is an obvious one. I didn't know before today if I should suggest The Beyond, but since you loved Fulci's Zombie, it's a no-brainer. An earlier one would be Carnival of Souls, and as far as witches go, The Witch is something I'd put on top of the list.
