Switching payments to "Charge upfront"

I've had a number of supporters who have signed up, hung around for a few days, then mysteriously vanished. I can only assume they're saving the high-res version of my work and running off with them (or, in the latest case, making a suggestion for the Monthly Vote). Luckily, I don't have any Patreon-exclusive content, so it's not that big of an issue.
Still, people are abusing the system and I get "false" notifications from these users in my activity feed, which is quite annoying. So, as of this post, I've switched over from charging "monthly" to charging "upfront".
You will still be charged once per-month, "charge upfront" only applies to new sign-ups and moving between pledge tiers. Read more below.
How does this affect me?
CURRENT supporters:
- You will continue to be charged on the 1st of each month, nothing will change if you stay at your current pledge amount.
- If you sign up for a higher pledge tier, you will be charged the difference immediately (ex: moving from $3 to $5, you will be charged $2).
- If you sign up for a lower pledge tier, you will be charged the new, lower amount on the 1st of the next month.
NEW supporters:
- You will be charged as soon as you complete the pledge process, this counts as payment for the month you sign up.
- After your sign-up month, you'll be charged on the 1st of each month for as long as you support me, just like all current supporters.
