Berserk is an emotional journey. The movies are worth watching or the Golden Age Arch Memorial - the same content just split into a show setting instead of a movie. Adds an "okayish" amount of skipped scenes and shows how Guts escaped. Berserk 2016... only if you're really desperate for what happens after 1997. The CGI is an undescribably unique level of bad. In fact you may be feeding the evil side. The Crimson Beherit or the Egg of the King that Griffith had was a connection to the Crimson God and the Hand of God. All that death that Griffith mercenaries and the war, all the pain, grief and death slowly fed the egg. Griffith desire was what finally summons the Hand of God. However the final price was the death of the Band of the Hawk. He is not Griffith anymore. He is the reincarnation of Ganesha aka Demon King. The others shown are Slan aka “Whore Princess of the Uterine Sea” aka Goddess of Flame. As well as the Skull King, Ubik and Stan aka the God of desires. Basically the massage that I got is that the path to the hell is paved with misguided good intentions. Many atrocities are done in the name of righteousness. At the end the Band of Hawk had to pay their pound of flesh for their part in all the killing.
