If you haven't seen "Scent of a woman", it's a great Pacino movie

2025-06-09 02:28:20 +0000 UTCHiHi Bisscute 😊 from San Antonio Texas USA 😊 Director De Palma dedicated this version of Scarface to the memories of Howard Hawks and Ben Hecht, the director and screenwriter, respectively, of the original film.... Each of whom were very prominent in their time and many of their films should be looked at. Filming took place from November 1982 to May 1983 in Los Angeles and Miami. A lot of the time I'm suspect of remakes however in this case the quality of the acting more than covers and you noticed this as well. My criterion for rating a picture as very little to do with emotion and more on the storytelling and the depth of that story. In this case of this version we are getting told a story of a boat lift by Fidel Castro in which he took advantage of a very weak president in Jimmy Carter and along with the supposed help list Cuban people he also included all of the incarcerated people. You rightly stated ambition can be used for good and also for not so good. A great reaction is always and also a way of learning more about you as a person as you react to the scenes of this movie.
