Overall a really good season (and watchalong Greg & Roxy) for Black Mirror 7!! I thought the return to the USS Callister Infinity world was a good one! I pretty much dug all the choices, except for the Epilogue (like Greg) mainly because it seems to signal the story is over, where as a cut to black when Clone Nanette realizes that both herself & the crew have taken over the mind of OG Nanette, maybe keeps a 3 part open in the future :)

You guys are definitely the contrast of me with Rankings. I came in with no knowledge of what the season was about and no previews. I just saw my mom on Netflix and that Black Mirror had a new season. I couldn’t start right away, and sort of came across spoiler about USS Callister being apart of it. Maybe from Google suggestions and/or the Netflix preview not giving me a second before playing it. Anyway, I watch for a mix of the deep stuff and the wacky/often fun technology shenanigans. The latter being the main reason I come back. So whenever the sci fi gets elaborated upon or showcased for most of the episode, that’s when I’m really hooked. That’s why my ranking is 6, 2, 3, 5, and 1. My mental state being affected so strongly doesn’t necessarily beat out the joy of going on basically “real” adventures in a computer game with players coming for you, multiverse skipping with fun revelations, live acting in a movie (especially pre established) where the ai gains agency or picture hopping. I actually forgot about of the Bandersnatch “sequel” when I was doing initial ranking alongside you. It just made sad and anxious like ep 1. The tech part was cool, though. I just like when more is done with it (that we can see). Like Playtest, USS C, etc. I also like anthologies, so anthologies in anthologies are excellent. So White Christmas and the Museum one are definitely multiple revisits.
